In my experience as a former newspaper reporter and now as a freelance writer, I learned how to quickly write and edit copy or take the time to investigate more substantial articles. I have worked under the pressure of intense deadlines, and translated all kinds of subjects into interesting, readable work. I am also adept at interviewing individuals and pulling out the pertinent gems of information relating to everything from long-term care insurance to agriculture and school budgets.
